INTRODUCING OUR CELLARS

La Goujonne’s cellars are adjacent to the Bastide du Vicari. They are located a few kilometers from Tourves, at the foot of the Loube, a mountain situated in the Var which rises to 827 meters above sea level in the Sainte-Beaume massif.

The grapes are welcomed and vinified in a cellar which is modernized according to ecological and economic needs.

The cellar master, Sébastien Kraus, ensures the aging of the wines from the harvest. He manages all tasks, going from the intake to the bottling. Indeed, he himself performs the operations of bonding, filtration, racking, assembling… The winemaking process is also assisted by a consultant oenologist, who regurlarly visits the estate.

After having called on a service provider for over ten years, the estate’s winegrowers made the choice, in 1994, to equip themselves with a butcher-puller aswell as a label maker to carry out the bottling on site.

To date, La Goujonne produces approximately 150,000 bottles, and since 2003, 800 hectolitres of Bag In Box (BIB) per year.

The products are mainly marketed in the Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône and Var, through sales agents and resellers. A boom is taking place in other French territories such as Bordeaux, the Rhône, Brittany and the North.

Abroad, the La Goujonne estate makes sales in Holland, Norway and England. However, wishing to be more present on the international market and desiring to develop the export of its products, the domain made the choice, in 2019, to send Noémie Kraus, export agent, to the United States.

From the vine to the table” is our motto!
